GoalHow to find and download GoldenGate Media Pack.

SolutionHere are the step-by-step instructions to download a Oracle GoldenGate Media Pack from eDelivery website:

1. Open in your browser http://edelivery.oracle.com/ , the welcome page opens.

2. On the welcome page click Continue, the page "Export Validation" opens.

3. On the page "Export Validation":

a. Fill in the 4 required fields:

- name (first last)

- company name

- email address

- country (select in drop-down)

b. Scroll down and tick the 2 checkboxes below for agreement with the conditions

c. Click Continue, the page "Media Pack Search" opens.

4. On the page "Media Pack Search":

a. Select a Product Pack: Oracle Fusion Middleware

b. Select Platform: <whichever applies>

c. Click Go.

d. In the package list that appears:

- If you need the Oracle GoldenGate Application Adapters , select the item looking like:

Oracle GoldenGate Application Adapters ... for JMS and Flat File Media Pack

- if you need the Oracle GoldenGate for Oracle Database, select the item looking like:

Oracle GoldenGate on Oracle DB Media pack

- if you need the Oracle GoldenGate for Non-Oracle Datqabases, select the item looking like:

Oracle GoldenGate for Non-Oracle DB Media pack

- if you need the Oracle GoldenGate Veridata, select the item looking like:

Oracle GoldenGate Veridata Media pack

- if you need the Oracle GoldenGate Director, select the item looking like:

Management Pack for Oracle GoldenGate Media pack

e. Click Continue, the page of the selected Media Pack opens.

5. On the page of the Media Pack that you selected and entered on the previous step:

a. Determine the item that you need:

b. Click the correspondent Download button and wait until the download completes.

6. Unzip each downloaded file into a temporary directory.

7. In the directory that contains the unzipped content of the package:

a. Review the enclosed documentation, starting by any readme files that might be included.

b. Locate and read through the installation and upgrade guide(s).
